Terms of Service
Puzzle Deck, made by 2 Buns LLC. Last updated 7 September 2026.
These terms cover Puzzle Deck: the website at puzzledeckapp.com and the iOS and Android apps. Using any of them means you accept them.
What Puzzle Deck is
A page of four puzzles, refreshed daily, with one attempt at each per day. Playing is free and does not require an account. We may change or retire individual puzzles, and occasionally a puzzle will be unavailable — when that happens it does not count against your streak.
Accounts
An account is optional. It exists so a subscription can follow you between devices and so your streak survives a reinstall. You are responsible for the email account the sign-in link is sent to. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Subscription
Puzzle Deck Plus is an optional paid subscription. It adds the full archive of past days, practice mode, per-puzzle statistics, one forgiven missed day a month, and removes ads.
How to cancel:
- iOS — Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Android — Play Store → Payments and subscriptions.
- Web — Settings in the app, or write to us.
Cancel through the same channel you bought it: only Apple or Google can cancel a subscription bought through them, and deleting your account does not do it for you.
Refunds
Purchases made through the App Store or Play Store are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us.
For purchases made on this website, write to support@puzzledeckapp.com and we will deal with it. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EEA you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. By subscribing you agree that access begins immediately; where the service has been used during that window we may reduce the refund proportionately, as the law allows.
Using it fairly
Please do not try to break the service, tamper with results, resell access, or extract the puzzle content in bulk. We can suspend access that does these things. Ordinary play, on as many of your own devices as you like, is fine.
Content and credits
The puzzles, code and design are ours. Some puzzle content comes from openly-licensed sources and remains theirs: geographic and historical facts from Wikidata (CC0), the world map outline from Natural Earth (public domain), sentences from Project Gutenberg, and photographs and flags from Wikimedia Commons under their individual licences. The About screen in the app credits each item alongside the puzzle that uses it.
If a puzzle states something wrong, there is a report button on the puzzle and we would rather hear about it than not.
No warranty, and what we are liable for
Puzzle Deck is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and none of it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; if a change is significant we will say so in the app before it takes effect. You can stop using Puzzle Deck at any time. We may end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
